Low Cost Physical Therapy Education
The Saunders Group is proud to sponsor Duane Saunders' physical therapy education courses. Duane Saunders specializes in spinal problems, and teaches the course, "Evaluation, Treatment and Prevention of Spinal Disorders" in various locations around the country. Realizing that no one technique is a panacea, Mr. Saunders presents a comprehensive approach to management of spinal disorders by teaching therapists basic pathological concepts and a thorough evaluation scheme. Pathology-specific treatment techniques such as joint mobilization, traction, and specific exercise programs are covered in depth. In addition, Mr. Saunders' philosophy emphasizes that most spinal disorders are the result of cumulative trauma factors, therefore, much of the treatment must focus on identification of treatable problems such as poor flexibility and strength, ergonomics, and body mechanic factors and lifestyle issues. Tuition for this physical therapy education event includes the textbook Evaluation, Treatment and Prevention of Spinal Disorders Textbook; Volume I: The Spine and several other helpful manuals. This seminar may either be attended in two days ($425) or in three days ($545) with the third day being lab work.
Physical Therapy Continuing Education from Saunders
The Saunders Group offers physical therapy continuing education by Duane Saunders. Duane Saunders is a well-known physical therapist educator with over 40 years experience. His seminar, "Evaluation, Treatment and Prevention of Spinal Disorders" gets rave reviews from attendees. Both beginning clinicians and seasoned professionals can benefit from his common-sense, eclectic approach to managing spinal disorders. Many PT educational offerings are expensive, impractical, or too focused on a single approach. This is where Duane's seminar differs. The Saunders Group believes that physical therapy continuing education should be accessible and practical. Clinicians immediately return to the clinic ready and confident to practice philosophies and techniques they've just learned. Duane's techniques complement and "pull together" principles learned in advanced manual therapy courses, and his no-nonsense, humourous style is appealing to all.
